What you need to know to get the most from LIZ

3 Fatal mistakes I see that are common in LIZ

  1. Assuming that LIZ is a networking group like all others-Many people attend the Power Breakfast or some other LIZ event and feel that they have received the benefits of LIZ.  They fail to realize the totality of a collaborative community model and how to get the maximum benefits.
  2. Not knowing, understanding and utilizing all of the systems of LIZ-Collaborative Community is a lot like a recipe where all of the ingredients matter.  LIZ was constructed to deliver to the user a complete system that could assist with a life and business progression.
  3. Repelling by selling-All of us need and want to sell our products and services.  There are important steps in the sales process and if not followed properly, they will repel network rather than build it.  
6 Steps You should take to Excel with LIZ

  1. Create an amazing LIZ profile.  You basically have a free website with LIZ and you want it to pop!  Here are some important factors to consider:
    1.  Complete your social and business profile
    2. On your social, use a great profile picture and load photos into your gallery.  Create a nice Cover photo that represents you well.  Write an accurate description of yourself and then connect with others.
    3. On your business profile, put your logo in as your avatar and size it properly to look great.  Create a nice banner to represent your business.  Write compelling content.  Fill in all the fields.  Give an easy way to be contacted in the description as well as the contact fields.  Make sure you have good key words so that people can find you in the search.LIZ Business Image
  2. Invite others to create their personal and business profile.  If all of us help to grow this collaborative community, there will be more opportunity for everyone.
  3. Search LIZ first.  When you need products or services, search the LIZ site first because that is what you want others doing to find you.  
  4. Refer LIZ members and LIZ Gives Partners.  The power of collaborative community increases exponentially when we are conscious to refer inside the community.  If you want to refer someone outside of LIZ, simply have them join and they too will get the benefits.  Always ask yourself, do you want others referring you or someone outside of LIZ.
  5. Engage if you want to be engaged.  You must be present to win.  It is so important that you are present to get the full branding, recognition and exposure that you need to increase your sales.  Here are the places you should be:
    1. On the LIZ Social tab-time block what you can to engage the posts of others on the LIZ social tab every day.  I recommend a minimum of 15 minutes each day.  Also post relevant content, images and videos.  Facebook is more focused on growing their business than they are growing yours.  LIZ is your collaborative community but we all have to make it work.  
    2. Networking and Education-Attend the Power Breakfast and LIZ University.  People can put a physical face to a digital name and image and reinforce the process of trust.  LIZ provides free educational opportunities from top experts.
    3. Mastermind-Probably the most important part of LIZ.  Peer collaboration is the key to uncovering what we don't know we don't know.  I encourage everyone to participate in the mastermind for two hours each month. 
    4. LIZ Family Night and Trade Show-This is an opportunity for you to have a free display and showcase your stuff!  Don't miss this!  Invite all of your friends and family.  Activities for kids and adults at the event.

  7. Be an encourager.  Build people up, stay away from gossip and allow people to be whom and what they are.

Why you are so important and valuable

America is trending negatively despite what the media may want us to think.  The only viable solution that we see is collaborative community.  You can insulate yourself and excel in your life and business in a collaborative environment that fosters unity, support and empowerment.  The Whole is only as good as the sum of the parts and you are an important part.  I want to urge you to use this post as a road map to navigate through the LIZ Social Marketplace.  I would also like to encourage you to attend a LIZ Collaborates and experience the support of LIZ.
